Definitely not your average zombie story. I do love a good zombie tale and I also love anything written about Arthur Pendragon and his fantasy realms. But, this is the not only a combination of both, it is exceptionally well-written, full of action and so interesting that I didn't want to put it down for any reason. What could be better? King Arthur verses zombies! I like this book, it was a fast read. Looking forward to the next in the series, coming Jan 31st.
Zombies are far from my favourite fare, but the lure of a young Arthur Pendragon at the centre of the tale overcame my reticence. Thankfully, as this was a rousing good tale.
Action abounds, the characters interesting and likeable, except for the prat of a Roman Emperor. But then he was fun to loathe as he attempted to manipulate all around him.
A darn enjoyable adventure tale in a well created world with compelling characters and a riveting storyline. Despite and indeed because of the zombies!
Well worth a read! I'm off to read the next in the series.

Unlimited, his books are space opera to magical to sorta history to LitRPG, and pretty sure they are all available individually/through ku too. FYI, yes I do binge read writers, unless give them 1 or 2 stars and sometimes 3. Obviously not the case here. Look at writer page. Want a rundown of plot? I thought this will be a typical teen book of Arthur vs fast zombies. But the supporting characters and Arthur did not get stuck on stupid and learned from their mistakes. However this is only a YA book and the characters and some scenes hit all the tv tropes.
